kevin rudolf - welcome to the world
first off, HAPPY EASTER YA'LL =)
hope you had an enjoyable weekend!
well easter sunday happend like this...
my family and i decided we should go for yum cha - so we went to the one in rhodes/homebush, and it was delightful.
headed back to aunts place in bankstown and had an AWESOME easter egg hunt - they(my aunties) hid about like 40 eggs hahaha it was so fun =D
for dinner we headed out again, for some korean bbq - which was even better! bassina i think its called? lol somewhere in stratty. recommended.
its funny, my family is buddhist, however we celebrate these kinds of holidays like we are christian and i think its just mainly that we've got days off and got nothing better to do so we celebrate, lol.
on a totally different note, i was suggested to blog about - "should students work or recieve youth allowence" by chris and so i shall attempt to explore this issue, if you call it that?so here it goes. the title of the issue pretty much explains it all but yeh,
when your in yr 12 i guess theres really no time for working, i mean studying and getting good marks is the number one priority and so where would you find the time to work? working also brings about tiredness and distraction and that disrupts your ability to focus on school. ok so i just asked chris if he was being serious about this.. and it was really a suggestion so, continuing on, getting youth allowence, i beleive is just getting it easy - the students dont need to work for it and getting it for "educational purposes" is actually not the correct way to put it. well some do use it as that, but the rest... not likely. i think when comparing the two, working is much more, say morally correct, as it does teach the person to take responsibility and earn their money rather than having it given to them. this is a pretty tough decision actually, it seems to be a bit contradictive, well not the question but the two ideas of working and youth allowence. so when your working youve got no time for studying and etc, however i dont know if this is just me but when you get youth allowence, you've got money, well obviously but doesnt that open up possibilities to actually go and spend that money? so equally either choices would take up time? i dont know, this is just my brain thinking. theres many points you could argue but im not going to continue and allow you to have a think about it. its late i dont know if anything i said made sense?
enjoy the rest of your long weekend and to the schoolers - enjoy the holidays =)
ill be back tomorrow with news from the show!
